Andrew Miller, Founder, CEO
Andy is responsible for overall business development and strategic direction for CardStar. Prior to CardStar, Andy founded Lumifi LLC, Quece LLC, RetirementSuite.com, and StockCar Stocks Mutual Fund where he served on the Board of Directors. In addition, Andy has held various positions at PFPC, T. Rowe Price, Putnam Investments and Bank of America. Andy holds a BA in Economics from SUNY Oswego, a MS in Entrepreneurial Studies from Suffolk University and serves as a member of the Entrepreneur Leadership Council at Suffolk University.
Danny Espinoza, Founder, Chief Technology Officer
Danny is responsible for overall technical development, design and user experience of the CardStar platform. Danny is also the inventor of a number of patents relating to mobile loyalty systems, including the company's SyncScan™ technology for effective rendering of 1-D barcodes on mobile phone LCD screens. Prior to CardStar, Danny founded Lumifi LLC, Quece LLC and Mesa Dynamics LLC. Danny has held senior technology positions at eMotion, TeraGlobal Communications, Multimedia Design Corporation and DARPA. Danny holds a BS in Operations Research and Information Engineering from Cornell University.
Michael R. Pratt, Chief Operating Officer
Michael Pratt has over 35 years of experience in general management and finance, in both domestic and international organizations. Michael’s experience includes early-stage company management, negotiation of strategic partnerships and alliances, and service on the Boards of Directors of several companies. Prior to joining CardStar, Michael was the CFO of Trust Digital, Inc.
Michael’s earlier professional experience includes CFO of Galt Associates; VP, Finance ∧ Administration of Sentito Networks; CEO of CrossMedia Networks Corp. and CEO of Point of Care Technologies.
Michael holds a BS in Finance from East Carolina University, a post-graduate degree in Business Administration from Massey University and an MS in Marketing from The Johns Hopkins University.
Sashont Crisp-Grieser, Founder, Director, Marketing & Operations
Sashont is responsible for ongoing client support, communications and promotional efforts for the company. Prior to CardStar, Sashont was Director of Marketing for Lumifi, an online research and collaboration platform. She also spent time leading Dinexx, a Boston based start-up company, through their pre-launch phase. Sashont has also consulted to other start-up companies, such as Savvy Adventures. Sashont holds a BS in Entrepreneurship from Suffolk University.
Stuart Hilger, Director, Business
Development
Stuart is responsible for CardStar’s business development efforts. Prior
to CardStar, Stuart has launched several new business initiatives and
has over twenty years of senior level marketing and business development
experience with firms including Rogerscasey, Aetna, Mutual of New York,
Fleet Financial, Fidelity Investments and Mellon Financial. Stuart
founded Route401k.com, the first internet portal that offered a fee calculation
algorithm and vendor services database for 401(k) retirement programs. Stuart
holds a BS in Business from Marquette University and a masters degree
from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Jill Starett, Mobile Marketing Coordinator
Jill is responsible for managing merchant offers and coupons for the CardStar platform. Jill is also responsible for daily tracking of product statistics. Prior to CardStar, Jill committed herself to her educational pursuits while maintaining lead supervisor positions in areas of customer service, program development, and sales. She also has acted as a consultant for Boston based, Anna’s Fried Dough. Jill holds a BS in Entrepreneurship from Suffolk University.
